Yes, this is so true and I have to stop playing the victim role. So often in the past when bad things happened to me, I pointed the finger at others. Today I am letting go of this ridiculous behavior. Even when I thought I was a victim of someone else's terrible acts I've learned to look at my self and take ownership. I made countless decisions that led to my troubles, whether staying in a situation to long, overlooking someone else's character flaws, lowering my standards, or just ignoring obvious signs. I'm learning to to accept responsibility for my contributions to the drama in my life and stop playing the victim. The best part is, I realize that taking responsibility for my life feels good!

Listen, I was falsely accused of a crime, jailed, defamed, and forced to endure many hardships. If anyone had reason to hold a grudge it was me and for awhile, I did. In order to regain my joy, I had to forgive, let go, and move on, and that’s what I did. You can do it too if you're willing to open your heart. Do it and then watch how free you become.

I totally agree with you Millicent. Looking back on my own experiences, I have to admit that I'm guilty of this simply ridiculous behavior. There have been times when I reacted to things being said without fully understanding or considering the message but only hearing what I wanted to hear. I'm learning to listen with an open mind and without letting my feelings control my response. Sometimes how you feel isn't what's real.

Hello Maria!
Let me tell you, I am moved each time I get a love note or email or blog comment from someone that has been touched by this work. Its not actually "my work" as I realize that I'm just an instrument of the Divine! It is such a pleasure to be involved with this ministry of love and see the way it impacts people. Thank you for the depth of your sharing and know that as you practice letting go, it gets easier and easier. Soon you'll be living the LIGMO Lifestyle, full of joy and positive self-expression!

Celebrate yourself today as you Live. Love. Learn. Laugh. LIGMO!

Hey Delilah! Thanks for taking time to visit the site and comment. The LIGMO workshops really are fantastic, aren't they? Its all about the human experience, giving grace and letting go of all of the ridiculous stuff we give way to much significance to. You stay in the game by telling the truth. What do you need to let go of? Remember, telling the truth is soooooo liberating! We have several videos featuring ridiculous behaviors. Please watch a few of them and make a comment. We have work to do! The inner work.....that's where the real riches can be found - inside of us once we do a little internal house cleaning!

Live. Love. Learn. Laugh. LIGMO!

Thank YOU Linda! It was a joy to speak to your group today. What a model of women helping and supporting other women! That's what the relational process is all about. Mutual empathy, mutual empowerment, vulnerability, participating in the growth of others. I'll have pics posted up soon, and from the overwhelming response, you know I'll be back!

Hi - I enjoyed your presentation at the Forsyth County Newcomers and Women's Club today. I had to leave immediately following your talk as my ride was leaving. (note to self - drive myself next time.) I plan to purchase your book and use the website to gain more insight into your philosophies. I"m moving past grudges! Thanks again.

I am truly ready to let go of finger pointing and blame. I am no longer a victim. I am authentic, transparent, vulnerable and a ray of light!
